Bird Window and Trail Hours

Enjoy the trails, and the Bird Window with Birdsong naturalists and volunteers. Free to all members; $5 for nonmembers, $2.50 for nonmember children ages 4 to 12. Please sign in at the Registration Center. Sorry, no pets are allowed.

Directions to Birdsong

From Tallahassee, FL:
Take Meridian Road north to the Florida/Georgia line, marked by a blue sign that reads "Grady County" on the right side of the road and "Mistletoe Plantation" on the left side. Go four miles, pass a long green lodge-style house with green roof on the right, Birdsong is the next drive on the right. There is a very small sign on the right side of the road that reads "Birdsong" and a row of 4 mailboxes on the left.. From the Timberlane Road intersection the total mileage is 18 miles.

Alternate route from Tallahassee:
Take Hwy 319 North (Thomasville Road) towards Thomasville, GA until you reach the Shell gas station, in Georgia, on the left side of the road. Turn left next to the Shell gas station onto Meridian Road. Follow Meridian one mile to stop sign then straight for another 3.8 miles. (Five miles total from the Shell station.) Located on the left side of Meridian Road. Small sign reads "Birdsong".

From Thomasville, GA:
Take Hwy 319 South towards Tallahassee, FL until you reach the Shell gas station, in Georgia, on the right side of the road (approximately 15 miles from downtown Thomasville). Turn right next to the Shell gas station onto Meridian Road. Follow Meridian one mile to stop sign then straight for another 3.8 miles. (Five miles total from the Shell station.) Located on the left side of Meridian Road. Small sign reads "Birdsong".
